Abstract 概要
FingerVision is a vision-based tactile sensor (Optical Skin) for robot fingers, developed by Akihiko Yamaguchi and Christopher Atkeson. It is multimodal (contact force distribution, proximity vision: slip, deformation, object pose estimation), easy to manufacture, physically robust, and cheap (one sensor is almost $50). This page describes the manufacturing process of FingerVision, software, and its installation to a robotic system like Baxter.
フィンガービジョン (FingerVision) はロボットフィンガ用に開発された，ビジョンベースの接触センサ（オプティカルスキン）です．山口明彦とChristopher Atkesonによって開発されました．フィンガービジョンはマルチモーダルで（接触力分布，近接ビジョン：すべり・変形・物体姿勢推定），簡単に作れて，物理的に頑丈であり，かつ安価（$50程度）という特徴を持ちます．このページは，フィンガービジョンの製造プロセス，ソフトウェア，Baxterなどのシステムにインテグレートする方法について解説します．
